In order to practise my poor language skills, I am writing in English again. And again it is Monday and I am on my way to the lovely Moravian city of Brno. Right now I dare not to guess where we are, but as my whole body (including the laptop) is shaking (maybe shaking is far too soft description of the movements), I can certainly say we have not got out of the D1 'highway' yet. Unfortunately. For the more time I spend travelling between Prague and Brno by bus, the worse state the highway seems to be in. Impossible is both reading and writing, not even mentioning such things like sleeping.
The most annoying thing is that the cursor is simply changing its position all the time, especially when it is least convenient. Whatever, writing on my PC is the easiest thing I can do right now.
I spent a rather hectic weekend again. On Friday I took a train to V.K. (which I hadn't taken for ages as the busses are often quicker and they go directly from Brno to V.K., whereas the trains end in Bylnice and there you have to wait for a local train to V.K. for an hour or you have to convince someone from your family to come there by car and pick you up) and I have to say that the journey was much more enjoyable than I'd expected – well, if you consider the fat that I was not travelling alone, but with a blue-eyed male schoolmate and we were sharing our literary and language experience, it is clear, I suppose. (OH MY... KILL THE HIGHWAY!!! There aren't many objects of hate in my heart, but the D1 highway is on the nr. 1 place.) I have spent Friday evening talking to my mother, we talked for hours – about all the things that had happened during the four weeks when I hadn't been there – who'd died, who'd been born, who'd visited them and whom they'd visited, how it'd been in Slovakia and such things. Yeah, and one of the best things was that my mum, although I hadn't told her (but I'd definitely wanted to some three weeks ago), cooked a meat cake (which I hadn't eaten for ages, too). Yummy, I am a genuine meat-eater. :o)
And as I am a genuine pastry-eater, too, I was absolutely delighted by the fact that I could taste some three or four different kind of cakes, pies, strudels and home-made pastry during one single day (Saturday).
NOTE: I gave up writing at this very moment because it was almost impossible due to the external conditions. Nevertheless, I suppose it's enough to practise my English. Should you desire to point out any mistakes that may have occurred in this text, please, let me know! Comments welcome :o)
